Become a Volunteer Member — Join the Crew of Our State’s Iconic Tall Ship

Love talking to people.
Love all things maritime.
Love sailing or simply being by the water.
Looking for a little adventure at sea.
Or just want to be part of something iconic.

Whether you’re a land lover, a sea lover, or somewhere in between, we’re looking for new volunteer members who want to get involved in the life of our tall ship and help keep her story alive.

As a volunteer, you can take part in:

Open Days
School Tours
Community Events
Day Sails
Voyages
Maintenance Days

No experience needed — we’ll happily show you the ropes.

Who Can Join

Membership is open to anyone who has an interest in our state’s iconic tall ship and wants to give back to the community. If you’re keen to be actively involved throughout the year, you can choose from two volunteer membership categories:

Volunteer Full Member - A person over 18 years

Volunteer Concessional Member - A person who at the commencement of the current membership year is 15 years or over but not turned 18 years of age, or is a full-time student at a education/ tertiary institution or is in possession of a senior/ health concession card.

Both categories include:

Email notifications for upcoming volunteer opportunities ashore and at sea
Invitations to social gatherings and training sessions throughout the season
One voting right at the Annual General Meeting
Eligibility for anyone aged 15 years and over

To volunteer at any One and All event, members must hold a SAPOL Police Clearance and DCSI Child Screening. These are mandatory and we can assist on obtaining these documents.

Membership Period

All memberships run from 1 July to 30 June each year.
